Anthropic launches Claude Marketplace and backs it with $100M startup fund

VERIFIEDConfidence: 80%

Anthropic is building out a full enterprise partner ecosystem around Claude with two complementary moves: a Claude Marketplace for third-party software that launched March 6, and the Anthology Fund, a $100 million venture fund with Menlo Ventures backing startups that build on Claude. Together, the initiatives signal Anthropic's shift from selling a model to selling a platform.

The Claude Marketplace lets enterprise customers browse and buy Claude-integrated applications from vetted partners through a single storefront. Six partners are live at launch — Snowflake, GitLab, Harvey AI, Rogo, Replit, and Lovable Labs — spanning data operations, development tools, legal automation, and app building. Companies can apply existing Anthropic spending commitments toward purchases, and Anthropic takes no commission on transactions. The Anthology Fund, financed by Menlo Ventures, invests from pre-seed through Series A across AI infrastructure, frontier applications, consumer AI, trust and safety tooling, and societal-benefit AI.
